NCFE Level 5 NVQ Diploma in Management and Leadership (601/4034/3)
Qualification content, structure, and outcomes
This Level 5 qualification aims to provide you with the skills you will need to operate as a successful manager. This practical qualification will confirm the competence of those already fulfilling a senior managerial role. It will also allow you to develop skills in a range of areas relevant to senior managerial roles, such as business process, strategic change, and risk management.

You will need to complete 4 mandatory units to achieve this qualification. The mandatory units are:
Unit01 Contribute to the development of a strategic plan (5 credits)
Unit02 Design business processes (5 credits)
Unit03 Manage strategic change (7 credits)
Unit04 Provide leadership and management (5 credits)

This is the only competency-based Level 5 management and leadership qualification offered by NCFE. It has been designed to support progression from the Level 4 management qualification.
The only similar qualification NCFE offers is the NCFE Level 5 Diploma in Principles of Management and Leadership (601/8032/8) which is a knowledge-based qualification.
This qualification has 40 credits and 240 guided learning hours.
This qualification provides the underpinning knowledge someone in a leadership or managerial role may require but does not include skills-based learning outcomes.
